I am Everyone

I always prefer my first post to be about me. After all, this journal is about me and my interests. Here is a paper I submitted for my English class this summer. It was supposed to describe me.

I Am Everyone

I am everyone. I am friendly. I am witty. I am hot. I am smart. I am good looking. I am a dreamer. I am unique. I am all that. Everyone is all that.

I can be everyone. I can be shy. I can be loud. I can be afraid. I can be a disappointment. I can be insecure. I can be annoying. I can be insensitive. I can be horny for a whole day. I can be all that. Everyone can be all that.

I did what I did. I do what I do. And I will do what I will do. My friends. My family. My media player. It’s all me, not everyone. Not everyone is open-minded. Not everyone wants to break out of the norms. Not everyone can sleep off anger. Not everyone drinks coffee in the middle of the day, with Cream-Os on the side, just because he wants to think. Not everyone lets himself get lost in the middle of a crowd in order to find himself. Not everyone watches his favorite TV shows on DVD over and over just to get back that feeling he felt when he first saw them. Not everyone can listen to music and feel his heart overflow with emotions and feel more alive than the minute before. Not everyone can find hope in the lines of a song, words of a fictional character, or in the eyes of someone else. Because, you see, not everyone is me. Not everyone can be me, because I am Jeffrey Venzuela, an 18-year old boy from the small town of Lucban, Quezon.

I hope this gives you at least an impression of who I am. I'll start posting for real soon!
