Brittany S. Pears of Glee Will Die!

Yup, Brittany S. Pears of Glee is going to die soon now that the rumored final season of one tree hill will have its final episode on May 18. Poor Brittany. What if Sue tries again to convince her to do something dangerous? She'll most likely cave in because One Tree Hill is already cancelled. Have mercy for Brittany.

The show started on Semptember 23, 2003. I never really saw the show when it first aired. I only saw a few random episodes from the first two seasons. I  started watching regularly during season 3 and I was hooked immediately, then I found myself looking for reruns of the first and second season. I was in my sophomore year of high school then. I was young, naive and didn't care much about the world and even life itself. I grew up as a teenager with this show. It taught me about friendship, love, hope, faith life and how to appreciate all of it. I guess that's what unique about this show. It has a tremendous love for life. I remember after every episode it would get me thinking about me and my life. One Tree Hill never failed to move me.

Every main character of the show taught me something. Lucas Scott taught me how to think deeply, making me broody at times. He showed me how to be a better friend. He inspired me as a writer. The geek/rockstar Haley James taught me how to be cautious and responsible. Then there's Nathan Scott, 'the martyr' as described by Peyton on an episode of season 4. Nathan showed me how to be a man, how to deal with the consequences of your action. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt is another one of his remarkable traits. We had the same common goal of not ending up like our fathers. Nathan and Haley was the image of unconditional love and wonderful parents. Finally, my two favorite characters, Peyton Sawyer and Brooke Davis. They taught me the true meaning of friendship. Both of them showed me how deep a friendship between best friends really is. Peyton gave me her passion for music. Sure, I have mine before I watched the show but my flame was just crackling while hers was blazing. It's actually funny that I feel like all the music from One Tree Hill, I owed it to her. She's like the most open minded character on the show too.  Now my most favorite character in the small town of Tree Hill, Brooke Davis. She taught me all about self worth, compassion, empathy, maturity, and standing up for one's self. She also has the kindest heart.

I could probably go on forever about what One Tree Hill means to me but I think what's enough to say is this: Everything that I am today. Every huge decision I made about my life. I owe it to One Tree Hill. That's how big of an impact it is on one life. I know it sounds crazy and super fanatic but it's the truth and I know there's more like me out there. If you're one of us, the souls that One Tree Hill touched, please sign this petition for one last season and hopefully with Peyton and Lucas back on the show.
